The Gravity Constant

The game's vertical downward acceleration is locked at 196.2 units (Roblox studs/s²). Every mass calculation in this wiki uses this constant. Combine it with each block's mass metric to determine the gravitational weight force on your craft.

Block Mass Index

Plastic Blocks, Pistons, and Jetpacks have a Massless property (0.00 kg) regardless of scale. Wood and Smooth Wood weigh 2.80 kg each. Glass, Concrete, and Gold weigh 20.504 kg each. Titanium and Rusted Block are community-interpolated at approximately 30.00 kg per unit. Use these values when planning a chassis.

Balloon Lift Capacity

Exactly 1 Balloon Block counteracts the weight of 18 Wood Blocks — equivalent to roughly 50.4 kg of payload per balloon. To lift a chassis of mixed materials, sum the total mass and divide by 50.4, then round up to find the minimum balloon count for neutral hover.

Thruster Velocity Caps

The standard Red Jet Turbine is capped at 92 studs per second with a fuel duration of 90 seconds, giving a total travel distance of 4,140 studs per tank. The Winter Jet Turbine operates 50% faster at 138 studs per second. The Trowel Tool's clone-while-active glitch negates the fuel cap entirely.

Avoiding the Torque Trap

Stacking multiple high-force blocks (Mega Thrusters, multiple Jet Turbines) increases velocity multiplicatively but introduces severe torque that can spin asymmetrical crafts violently. Use the Physics Calculator to verify net force and apply counter-thrusters symmetrically around your center of mass.
